No. Every camp is designed to take a complete beginner, and most children arrive as one. Instructors assess each child in the first day or so and pitch the projects to match, so beginners and returning campers work side by side, each on something that stretches them.
What do you mean by a progressive curriculum?
We track where each child gets to, and the next week picks up from there rather than starting over. Projects change week to week, so a child who comes in June and again in July builds different things both times.
How many weeks should my child attend?
You can book as many weeks as you like. We suggest at least two to build a real foundation: one week is an introduction, two is where things start to click.
Do the weeks need to be consecutive?
No. We keep track of your child’s progress, so they can take a break for a holiday and pick up where they left off. Booking June and August works just as well as two weeks in a row.
Two campuses
Camp runs 9:00–4:00, check-in 9:00–9:15 AM. Extended care 8:30–9:00 and 4:00–6:00 at both.
